venient than ever before with low-cost direct flights offered by Spirit Airlines, Allegiant
Air, United Airlines, Porter Airlines, WestJet and Delta Airlines. More than 800,000
people will fly in and out of Myrtle Beach each year.
Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) i located just south of the intersection of U.S. Highways 17 and 501. It’s
approximately 25 miles or a forty-minute drive from North Myrtle Beach via Highways 17 or 31. Recent upgrades include
additional gates and more shopping & dining choices - Caribou Coffee, Steak & Shake, Nacho Hippo and more. Most
major car rental agencies have stations at the airport. Car rentals should be arranged in advance.
For private aircraft, North Myrtle Beach is served by a smaller airport ready to take care of your general aviation needs.
The Grand Strand Airport is located off Highway 17 at the west end of 33rd Avenue South in the Windy Hill section of
